In Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh A sensational government job scam has been exposed, with at least five people obtained compassionate appointments based on fake documents in the school education department.
These people falsely claimed the death of their parents, while their parents are not only alive, but they never worked in the education department.
Disclosure of scam and order for investigation
Rewa Division Commissioner BS Jamod has ordered an inquiry into all the appointments made on compassionate grounds in Rewa, Satna, Siddhi, and Singrauli districts in the last three years after the scam surfaced.
He said, “An order has been issued in the School Education Department to investigate all the appointments made on compassionate grounds in the last three years.
The SDM of the district will lead the inquiry committee, which will include one officer each of the Department of Education and Treasures. The committee has been asked to submit its report within 15 days. “
Along with this, a show cause notice has also been issued to the District Education Officer of Rewa.
Action against the accused
Police has given five accused –Hiramani Rawat, Om Prakash Cole, Sushma Cole, Vinay Kumar Rawat, and Usha Devi– FIR has been lodged against those who received compassionate appointments using fake documents.
In addition, clerk responsible for compassionate appointments in the office of District Education Officer Prasannadhar Dwivedi But a case of fraud has also been registered.

Scam background
According to sources, the scam came to light when the investigation of compassionate appointments made in the last one year began.
Earlier a case was reported, after which all compassionate appointments of the previous year were investigated in Rewa, during which five more fake cases were caught.
District Education Officer of Rewa SL Gupta Said, “We investigated all the cases of the last one year. Then it was found that five more cases were fake.
Neither the person, who was shown death, was in a government job, nor was he the real parents of those who got the job.
All the documents were fake. “He also said,” These appointments took place during my tenure, but I revealed this irregularity. “
Further action
The police have registered an FIR against the five accused and started searching for them.
Also, a comprehensive investigation is going on in four districts on the orders of the Divisional Commissioner, due to which the scam is being expected to grow further.
Rewa district administration has assured strict action in this matter.
