CBSE Result 2025: Today you can come and 12th results, see your digits like this


New Delhi, 12 May 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can declare 10th and 12th grade results today. Students who attended these exams can see their marks on official websites such as cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, and results.digilocker.gov.in. Apart from this, results can also be checked through the UMANG app.

When and where to see the result?

CBSE usually declares the result between 10 am and 1 pm. However, the board has not yet confirmed the exact date and time of the result. Last year, the results came on 13 May in 2024, and were declared in 2023 on 12 May. This time too, the results are expected to come in mid -May.

Students are advised to trust only official websites. Wrong news may spread on social media, such as a fake notice had gone viral earlier, which was rejected by CBSE.

How to check the result?

  1. First official website cbseresults.nic.in These cbse.gov.in Go to
  2. Click on the link of “10th Result 2025” or “12th Result 2025” there.
  3. Enter your roll number, school number, date of birth, and center number.
  4. The result will appear on the screen. Download it and take out the print.
Student Digilocker (digilocker.gov.in) And you can also see your points from the UMANG app. For Digilocker, you will need a special code of 6 digits, which will be available from the school. CBSE has already given this code to schools.

How many students took the exam?

This year, more than 42 lakh students took 10th and 12th examinations. These exams lasted from 15 February to 4 April 2025. The 10th exam ended on 18 March, while on April 4 of 12th.

How many numbers are required to pass?

For both 10th and 12th, at least 33% marks will have to be scored in each subject. There are 33% marks required in the theory and practical in 12th. If a student misses passing by 1-2 points, CBSE can give him grace marks.

Last year record

Last year i.e. in 2024, the pass percentage of 10th was 93.60%, and 87.98% of 12th. The girls performed better than the boys – the pass percentage of girls in 12th standard was 91.52%, while the boys 85.12%. This year too, the same trend is expected.

What to do if not passed?

Students who will not be able to pass one or two subjects can take compartment exams. These exams will be held in July 2025. Also, if you doubt your digits, you can apply for re-checking or re-squirming.

How to check with Digilocker?

  1. Digilocker’s website digilocker.gov.in Go to or download the app.
  2. Login with your mobile number.
  3. Go to the “CBSE Result 2025” section.
  4. Enter your roll number and school number.
  5. See and download the result.
CBSE has made special arrangements to see the results through Digilocker, so that students are ease and do not need paper.

What is special?

This year, CBSE has started a new thing – a 6 -digit code has been given to activate the Digilocker account of students. This code has been given to schools, and schools will convey it to the students. After this, students can download their results and certificates from Digilocker.

There is an appeal to the students and their parents to keep an eye on the official websites and ignore any fake news. After the result, be prepared to take the next step, whether it is further studies or compartment exam preparation.
