DAVV’s Dr. Sunita Kataria included among “World’s Top 2% Scientists” for the second consecutive time


Indore (Madhya Pradesh). Dr. Sunita Kataria, scientist from the School of Biochemistry of Devi Ahilya University (DAVV), has once again won a big honour. He has been included in the “List of Top 2% Scientists of the World 2024-2025” released by Stanford University and Elsevier.

DAVV’s third faculty member becomes top 2%

Dr. Sunita Kataria is the third faculty member of DAVV to be included in this prestigious list. this honor to them second consecutive year Has been found, which is proof of his continuous excellent research work.

Earlier this year Prof. Anjana Jaju and Dr. Mukesh Sharma have also received the same honour.

Also received Best Research Paper Award

Dr. Kataria’s research paper “Effect of high temperature and water deficit on nitrogen fixation, photosynthesis and seed quality in soybean” has been awarded for the year 2024. GS Sirohi Best Research Paper Award Got it.

The paper was published in the journal Plant Physiology Reports. The award will be presented at the inaugural session of the 6th International Conference on Plant Physiology (ICPP 2025) to be held at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore on December 15.

Protecting crops from environmental stress for 24 years

Plant Physiologist Dr. Sunita Kataria has more than 24 years of research experience. Their main work is to find ways to protect crops from drought, excess salt (salinity) and harmful UV-B rays.

These researches are helping farmers a lot in protecting them from the effects of climate change.
